My Story

Hi, I’m Lara! And I’m the girl behind LittleMissFoodie… I grew up in a small town in NJ. I studied at the University of Scranton where I got my BA in Early and Primary Education. I then became a teacher for 8 years. In 2021, after really acknowledging my passion for health and wellness, I left my teaching job to work on my business. Here is where my story really begins!

I studied at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and became a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, where my goal is to guide you to reach your health and wellness goals, whether that’s eating patterns, sleeping better, boosting energy, managing stress and so much more.

Trust me, I have been there!

I am looking forward to helping you discover which foods and lifestyle choices that makes you feel your best self.

Growing up, I was always a healthy child so when I ran into some health concerns in my 20’s, I was confused. I didn’t know who to ask for help, or where to go for guidance and answers to just feel better. After I got through those years and started to learn about health coaches, I realized that I wanted to be the person for someone else who I needed for myself.

    My love for cooking and baking originated from always helping my mom and Nana in the kitchen. After not feeling so great during my college years, and finding food freedom after disordered eating, I found a new love for making my own recipes. I’m overwhelmed with lots of ingredients and steps, so my goal is to create simple, yet delicious recipes!

    My goal is to be the person for someone else that I needed at one time..nI didn’t know where to start. Food? Fitness? Mindset? I felt like I was tackling it all at once and not making any real progress. By working together, we can find a route that works for your body, mind and schedule that is both attainable in the short term, and sustainable in the long run.

    I’m so fortunate that so many beautiful gals in my community share similar interests and style, including clothes, products and home goods as I do!
